Reading the Standards
The first number (or letter for algebra) denotes what grade level the standard is being taken from. The middle letter(s) denote what domain a standard comes from. The last number denotes what specific standard is being referred to.
Example: 7.EE.2
Grade 7 -> Expressions & Equations -> Use properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions (2)
Common Core Standards in mathematics build upon each other. In this course students will be working to ensure they have the prerequisite skills for success in high school Algebra I.
